Horse Racing will appeal to anyone that has a love of horses and a spirit of adventure; and the most satisfying way to take part in the action is to follow the fortunes of your very own race horse.

Buying a racehorse needn't be as expensive as you would expect. At Jo Foster Racing, we cater for all pockets with our extensive range of  partnerships, racing syndicates, racing clubs and leasing of race horses and point to point horses, all based at our beautiful 300 acre farm in Ilkley, Yorkshire, where many winners have been trained in the last 12 years including the top Yorkshire horse 2 years running and the top Northern horse. If you've always fancied owning a race horse or being involved in owning a horse, but were unsure how to go about it, read on and please contact us for a chat.

Please remember that for jockeys the sport is shortlived and extremely hazardous. One in five rides ends in a fall and most jump jockeys will retire in their 30's due to injury, just last year  Yorkshire lads Padge Whelan and  Dominic Elsworth have both suffered serious concussion, and at some point most of us may need the services of the Air Ambulance. Many of us owe them our mobility! They are not funded by the government but rely on donations so please think of them next time you are watching the racing...to donate please visit the website...

...Jo's Big IJF Party on Sept 3rd was a huge success, raising over £3000 for the Injured Jockeys Fund. 240 people attended a fabulous night with chaotic and hysterical donkey racing, night long dancing and some very sore heads next day!! Thank you to all who came and all who donated such wonderful prizes - it was well worth all the hard work.

Winged Farasi  has had a wind operation and is back  racing now. Had a run to get him fully ready to go close in January 2012 so watch out....
